The Basics of Drush

This session will describe the basic features of Drush, and why you should learn this important administrative utility. Topics and demonstrations will include backups, enabling and disabling modules, updating core, updating modules, clearing the Drupal cache, and getting helpful status information from your Drupal installation, all without navigating through Drupal's administrative screens. Drush plays nicely with Linux, and this session will discuss the rationale behind its design.

The session is aimed at Drupalers who've never used Drush, and system administrators who are looking for tools to make Drupal easier to administer.
